BIO:
Dino Dave and Justasaurus, the dino duo, are here to crank your mom’s boombox with synth-soaked, bass-slappin’, drum-machine bangers that scream ‘90s mall vibes and ironic dance moves. From new wave sass to hip-hop swagger, their music is a time machine to a world of dial-up modems, Tamagotchis, and questionable fashion—perfect for anyone who thinks “party like it’s 1999” is a legit life goal. Grab a Capri Sun, join the Dino Disco, and tell your mom we said hi.
Dino Dave and Justasaurus have a history in the music scene and it shows by their musical past. The duo began playing music together in 1995, and haven't stopped since. Even when Justin was in Tokyo or Los Angeles.
Dave is an illustrator by day, and a musician at night who has played shows with his band THE OTTOMEN since 1996. He has written songs for films, and for the cartoon network series OVER THE GARDEN WALL. To this day, people are shocked to find out that he wrote the song "Potatoes and Molases" His prolific nature as an artist keeps him busy operating under the artist name, Misung and the Keyboards as well.
Justin works as a professor of music at Lindenwood University, where he teaches music business and production. His early experiences recording music were with Dave in 2002 when the two collaborated in an early iteration of Elektrodinosaur to complete Justin's graduation project. He has also had music on tv and also scored a few films, and completed a few game soundtracks.
NEWS:
The two have added a new member who plays drums and dances as needed. He is known as G-Rex and also plays in countless ensembles across the city. The trio has a heavy rock album coming together with songs about "White Castle" "Straw Hats" and "The Glizzy Rizzler" - It will not disappoint!
